Coast Capital

When Pacific Coast Savings Credit Union was approaching its merger with Richmond Savings, Cathy conducted a series of focus groups among Pacific Coast members and staff, to determine their reactions to the proposed merger, and to provide input for the marketing team regarding the types of messaging and communications activities that members and staff would find most beneficial.

Cathy also conducted a series of in-depth one-on-one interviews several months later with the combined management teams of Pacific Coast and Richmond. The findings from these interviews were integral to the re-positioning and re-branding efforts that launched the new Coast Capital Savings Credit Union.

Recently, when Coast Capital Savings required input from its members during an extensive redesign of its monthly statements, Cathy conducted a series of one-on-one interviews with Coast Capital’s members on Vancouver Island and on the Lower Mainland, to gauge their reactions to a series of possible new statement designs, compare their reactions to the new design options to their feelings about the current statement, and provide input to the design team regarding the specific features they liked and disliked.
